Due to popular demand, all AFOL tickets have sold out!

There are only a few tickets left for the exculsive evening event, so be QUICK!

There are only a handful of tickets remaining for AFOLs and only a few tables left for exhibitors no tables left to display creations! All AFOLs who are thinking about coming and have not yet registered, please do so today as they are likely to be sold out by the end on the week!

Remember, all exhibitors / AFOLs receive;

  • Entry to the museum and show both days,
  • a brick name badge, and
  • a showbag featuring a model only available at the 2012 Sydney Brick Show as well as many other goodies.
  • discount to the exclusive evening event.

Sydney Brick Show Exclusive Evening Event (Saturday 2nd June)

The exclusive evening event will be on Saturday 2nd June. The cost is $50 per ticket. The event is being held in support of the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and proceeds from this event will help children and their families in times of need.

The evening will consist of;

  • cocktail reception evening with alcoholic drinks / canapés (no fancy dress required, just smart casual),
  • an opportunity to see displays without the daytime crowd,
  • keynote speakers including Australia’s only LEGO Certified Professional Ryan McNaught, and LEGO Community Manager Jim Foulds from the USA,
  • trade tables of collectable sets (bring any that you would like to sell. Email for more information), and
  • Charity auction of rare LEGO models.

The evening event is only open to those 16 and older. All 16 and 17 year olds attending must be accompanied by a guardian.

Powerhouse Museum Workshops are Now Open

The Powerhouse Museum has announced three workshops that will be running during the Sydney Brick Show. Designed specifically for children, these hands on workshops include;

  • Advanced LEGO building
  • Discover Minecraft
  • Discover Scratch

Ryan McNaught, one of only 13 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world, will be presenting daily, taking you behind the scenes of professional model making.

We are excited to announce that The Sydney Brick Show will held on 2-3 June at the Powerhouse Museum. We invite you to join us in displaying your creative genius at Sydney’s first LEGO® fan event in 2012. The new Sydney Brick Show will bring together the best in LEGO® fan conventions with a family fun showcase of AFOL creations.

The amazing two day event will include public viewing, interactive activities and a spectacular evening fan reception with competitions, guest speakers, everyone’s favorite “Dirty Brickster” and MORE! Proceeds from the Saturday night reception will be given to the Westmead Children’s Hospital for the inspirational work they perform everyday!

So get you MOC’s started and more news will be up really soon!!!!
